#1 People are sort of obsessing over The Wave. Some kids are living by The Wave. Students are using their free periods to listen in on Mr. Ross's lessons about The Wave. When The Wave experiment is over I think that some students are not going to be able to quit because they are taking The Wave too seriously.
#2 The quote that stands out to me the most is " No, Mom. That's the only thing that bothers me, and that isn't much. I promise you, Mom, this is a molehill and you're looking for a mountain. Really trust me."(pg. 74) I liked this quote because I like the metaphor that was used in it to describe the way Laurie's mom is taking The Wave too seriously.
#3 How do you think the Grape vine will be effected by The Wave?

#2. I liked that quote too. However I don't think that Laurie's mom is overreacting. People ignored the Nazis when they first formed and look what happened!
#3. I think The Grapevine will be affected the Wave, since everyone it school is getting into it. Perhaps someone from The Grapevine will try to stop it?
#1 The kids really are obsessing over the Wave. I like how you included the kids coming in during free period.
#3 The Grapevine can't really get worse. But I think that the Wave might stop the Grapevine completely.
#1. I agree with kids "riding" The Wave and that when it ends, things will go askew. Also I agree with you that kids are taking it to seriously.
#3. I think The Grapevine will be affected because already, not much of the staff is showing up. But the staff that is might join The Wave, and The Grapevine might lose more members.
#3 I think The GrapeVine will be effected because in the story some people in The GrapeVine wants to have a story of The Wave in there newsletter.
#1 I agree that they dont have the will to quit becuase there too caught up into it.
