“For the rest of your lives…never, ever, allow a group’s will to usurp your individual rights.” (pg.135, The Wave) I think this quote means that you will always have your rights and nobody can change that. If you fell uncomfortable with what a group is doing or if their treating you bad then you should stand up for yourself.
I can apply this quote to my life if I was in some club that doesn't like people with blue eyes and they forced me to join. If I knew what they were doing was bad then I could quit the club or try to make them stop treating other people so badly.

I think that in the beginning Robert was very shy and never thought much of himself. He also didn't have very much confidence in his work and every thing he did. But then when he joins The Wave he gets more confidence and he feels like he is equal to everyone. He started caring more about his grades. At the end of the book The Wave ends, so Robert starts to get very sad like how he was before The Wave he lost all the self confidence that he gained from The Wave.
I think that Mr. Ross will take care of Robert so that he will feel better about himself and so that he doesn't go back to the way he was before The Wave started. I also think that he will make sure he doesn't get picked in so much any more. So that he will have a better grade then before.

a. I think that there are quite a few pieces of fascism. First off Mr. Ross is basically like a dictator what ever he wants or says the members of The Wave follow even if he was joking. He also shows fascism by having kids be rated out by each other because they aren't following the rules. For example when Laurie was protesting The Wave by writing what is really going on with The Wave and then David waited for her after school and he got into a big fight with her about The Wave until the point where he through her onto the ground.
b. Well the first one that came to me was the Holocaust. I think that this event in history was very fascist because Hitler hated the Jews so much that he became the Dictator of Germany and he started a group called the Nazis the Nazis were soldiers that would go around and take all the Jews away to prison camps just because they were Jewish and different. I think that it is wrong to treat people that way only cause they are different or they have different beliefs about things.

Final Wave Post!
AVOIDING MOB MENTALITY
Some ways that you could stay away from mob mentality is to always think before you join a club. Think if it is going to hurt someone or if it will upset someone. Think about how you would feel if you were the one who was being attacked or picked on. Another way is to listen to your parents because they probably know what is right to do. I think that you should try to be nice to someone who is weaker or younger than you. If someone or a group of people are making you uncomfortable then you should tell a teacher or your parents what is going on because they can help you.
