My favorite book from last year is Spider Boy. It is about a boy named Bobby who has a pet tarantula named Thelma. He moves and goes to a new school. Bobby has a journal that he writes in, he writes all about his life and Thelma. Bobby has a problem with a bully named Chick Hall who calls him "Spider Boy From Illinois". Then his teacher puts him with a girl named Lucky, she is also new at the school. He discovers she is not so bad for a girl. Things get better when Bobby sees a chance to get back at Chick. This is my favorite book because I like the way the reader reads his journal.
